Our Purpose

To drive the decarbonization of transportation by delivering utility-grade EV charging that is easy to deploy, adaptable to any site, and accessible to all communities.

Who we are

Tap&Go EV is helping drive EV adoption by building charging infrastructure that fits into everyday life. Our chargers are made to work wherever people park, including streets, townhomes, parkades, workplaces, and multi-unit buildings.

After encountering roadblocks installing an EV charger in his apartment garage, Vancouver-based entrepreneur Mark Robinson set out to create a better solution. He was inspired by his time in New York City, where phone booths were everywhere, easy to find and available when needed. Tap&Go was built around the same idea. Charging should be just as accessible.

We believe topping up your Electric Vehicle should feel like part of your day, not a separate errand. Tap&Go makes it possible for people to charge in shared or public spaces and pay only for what they use, with accurate, energy-based billing.

Our chargers are built for real infrastructure. They install on utility poles, streetlights, garages, or walls, depending on the site. Every unit includes certified metering, simple user authentication, and a connection to the Tap&Go platform for billing and monitoring.

By removing common barriers like shared power costs, grid strain, and installation complexity, Tap&Go helps more communities move toward clean transportation without delays or unnecessary expense.

We are not just building hardware. We are expanding access so that EV charging becomes a normal part of everyday life, available wherever it is needed.
